  • preFOSDEM MySQL Belgian Days 2026 Talk – Powering AI-Ready MySQL: When MyVector Meets ProxySQL

Our Director of Services, Alkin Tezuysal, will be speaking at preFOSDEM MySQL Belgian Days 2026, with his talk - Powering AI-Ready MySQL: When MyVector Meets ProxySQL.
This session presents a unified architecture that combines MyVector, a native vector extension for MySQL, with ProxySQL as an orchestration layer. This setup creates a single control plane for managing both SQL and vector workloads, enhancing ProxySQL’s routing capabilities for content-aware query classification and dynamic policy enforcement.

  • FOSDEM 2026 Talk – Magical Mystery Tour: A Roundup of Observability Datastores

FOSDEM is a free event for software developers to meet, share ideas, and collaborate. Every year, thousands of developers of free and open source software from all over the world gather at the event in Brussels. You don't need to register. Just turn up and join in!
Our colleague, Joshua Lee, will present his talk, Magical Mystery Tour: A Roundup of Observability Datastores. From plain-old Postgres to the LGTM stack, ELK, Cassandra, and ClickHouse, the landscape of telemetry storage options is as vast as it is overwhelming.
Whether you’re building an observability stack from scratch or looking to optimize an existing setup, this tour of the observability datastore landscape will leave you better equipped to navigate the options.

  • Brussels: Open Lakehouse and AI

The Open Source Analytics Community is proud to host this meetup in Brussels. Real-time databases are integrating with data lakes to reduce storage costs and share data with AI and data science. Please join us to hear from a range of experts as they share current problems and solutions while navigating the transition from closed storage models to open table formats like Apache Iceberg.

  • Live-coding with Moosestack: Let’s ship real-time dashboards and AI chat powered by ClickHouse®

What if you could build a custom AI-powered chat interface into your application - powered by ClickHouse and Kafka for real-time answers - in under an hour?
Join us for this live-coding session where we'll combine open-source tools to showcase a demo application fed by the Bluesky firehose.
You'll learn how to build, deploy, and operate ClickHouse-powered real-time user experiences in your existing application stack with your Python / Typescript application framework of choice.

  • FOSSASIA Summit 2026 Talk – Scaling Real-Time Analytics on Iceberg: Introducing Project Antalya

The FOSSASIA Summit 2026 will take place on March 9–10, 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand, and our colleague, Alkin Tezuysal, will be talking about Project Antalya! This talk introduces Antalya’s architecture, shows how to run it with Docker and Kubernetes, and explains the key design trade-offs around performance, scalability, and ClickHouse compatibility. Attendees will learn how ClickHouse can deliver interactive analytics directly on Iceberg data, where the project is headed, and how to evaluate Antalya for real-world analytics workloads.
