Did you know ClickHouse can read data directly from MySQL? Or connect to DBMS tables using ODBC? Or read data directly from S3? This talk describes the myriad ways that ClickHouse servers can access non-ClickHouse data.

* Querying 40k+ open datasets through Splitgraph from ClickHouse — Artjoms Iskovs and Miles Richardson from SplitGraph

Splitgraph is a PostgreSQL-compatible database proxy and cache that can forward queries to upstream open data providers, versioned database snapshots, and other databases. In this talk, we’ll show you how to query any of 40k+ datasets hosted by the Socrata open data platform from your ClickHouse instance, using Splitgraph’s data delivery network and ODBC.

* Add Automated Machine Learning Capabilities to Clickhouse Database — Jorge Torres, Max Stepanov, and Zoran Pandovski from MindsDB

Given that most of the world’s structured and semi-structured data (information) lives in databases, it makes sense to bring Machine Learning capabilities straight to the databases themselves. In this interactive demo session, we want to present how to create, train and test neural networks based ML models straight in the ClickHouse database using convenient SQL tools and MindsDB open-source AutoML framework.
