Scale ClickHouse® Queries Infinitely with 10x Cheaper Storage: Introducing Project Antalya

April 16 @ 8:00 am 9:00 am PDT

Want to increase ClickHouse performance by 10x? Want to decrease storage costs by 10x? Want to handle tables running into hundreds of Petabytes?

Join us as we unveil Project Antalya, an open-source, ClickHouse-compatible build from Altinity that combines cloud native clustering, cheap object storage, and swarms of stateless query servers to deliver order-of-magnitude improvements in cost and performance.

In this presentation, we’ll explain how Project Antalya works, demonstrate performance, and show you how to begin using it on your data today. Plus, hear from PostHog, as they share how they’re leveraging Project Antalya.

The webinar has ended, but because we love you, here is the on-demand video of the webinar:

About the Presenters

Robert Hodges – CEO at Altinity

Robert has more than 30 years of experience with database systems and applications including pre-relational databases such as M204, online SQL transaction processing, Hadoop, and analytics. In the last few years, his work has focused on analytical databases, Kubernetes, and open source.

Alexander Zaitsev – CTO and co-founder at Altinity

Alexander is an Engineering Manager with 20 years of experience in software development, engineering team management, and leadership, including but not limited to enterprise software, high-performance internet applications, and big data analytics systems. Specialties: Startups, engineering management, software development, big data, R&D.

Tim Glaser – Co-CEO at PostHog

Tim has been coding since he was 11. Someone first paid him to write code when he was 13 and someone else gainfully employed him when he was 16. Originally from the Netherlands, quickly moved to London where he joined Arachnys and shortly afterwards met James Hawkins. He went from being a software engineer, to a product manager, to “leading” an R&D team, which consisted of just me. Later on, James convinced him to start a startup with him.

In his ‘spare’ time, he falls down snowy mountains, wrestles in the mud over an egg-shaped ball, and watches a lot of Bondi Beach to perfect his Australian accent.
