Robert Hodges is CEO of Altinity. He has decades of experience working with database systems and enterprise software. Robert was formerly CEO of Continuent, which was acquired by VMware in 2014. He spent four years at VMware working on cloud products before joining Altinity in 2019.
Mindaugas is the COO and co-founder of Altinity. He has years of experience in managing highly skilled professional teams working with Internet projects. Before Altinity, Mindaugas has held technical and business roles at Internet/tech solution companies.
Alexander is co-founder of Altinity. He has 20 years of engineering and engineering management experience in several international companies. Alexander is expert in high scale analytics systems design and implementation. He designed and deployed petabyte scale data warehouses, including one of earliest ClickHouse deployments outside of Yandex.

Peter Zaitsev co-founded Percona and assumed the role of CEO in 2006. As one of the foremost experts on MySQL strategy and optimization, Peter leveraged both his technical vision and entrepreneurial skills to grow Percona from a two-person shop to one of the most respected open source companies in the business. Peter was an early employee at MySQL AB, eventually leading the company’s High Performance Group. A serial entrepreneur, Peter co-founded his first startup while attending Moscow State University where he majored in Computer Science.
Vadim TkachenkoPrincipal Advisor
Vadim Tkachenko is Altinity Principal Advisor, but he is better known as co-founder and CTO of Percona. Vadim leads Percona Engineering Team, which focuses on development of Percona software products, technology research and performance evaluations of Percona’s and third-party products. Vadim's research team designs no-gimmick tests of hardware, filesystems, storage engines, and databases that surpass the standard performance and functionality scenario benchmarks. He brings his Percona background and experience to Altinity. Previously, he founded a web development company in his native Ukraine and spent two years in the High Performance Group within the official MySQL support team.
