SUMMARY:Making ClickHouse® safe for AI: Using OAuth in Altinity Builds
DESCRIPTION:WEBINAR\n\n\n\nMaking ClickHouse® safe for AI: Using OAuth in Altinity Builds\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOAuth is a standard protocol for single sign-on that has developed into a popular way for AI agents to access data securely. It is now available in open source Altinity Antalya builds. In this webinar\, we’ll show how OAuth works\, how to configure it\, and how to use it in applications\, including AI agents. \n\n\n\nWe’ll also present our roadmap for OAuth improvements\, including certification of client libraries. As with all Altinity contributions to ClickHouse®\, our OAuth implementation is 100% open source. Join us to learn about OAuth and start using it today. \n\n\n\nPresenters: \n\n\n\n\nRobert Hodges (Altinity)\n\n\n\nAndrey Zvonov (Altinity)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Presenter \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRobert Hodges – CEO at Altinity \n\n\n\nRobert Hodges serves as CEO at Altinity\, a leading software and services provider for ClickHouse®. SUMMARY:SRE DAY 2026 Talk - Site Reliability\, DevOps and Cloud - OpenTelemetry Playtime is Over
DESCRIPTION:Conference Talk\n\n\n\nSRE DAY 2026 Talk – Site Reliability\, DevOps and Cloud – OpenTelemetry Playtime is Over\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOur Open Source Advocate\, Joshua Lee\, will be speaking at SREday Munich – Site Reliability\, DevOps and Cloud\, on one day\, with 10+ speakers\, in MaibornWolff\, Munich\, Germany. \n\n\n\nSo you finally got your organization to invest in OpenTelemetry. You carefully evaluated observability backends and picked the perfect one. Everything is awesome. Then\, twelve months later\, your costs have skyrocketed\, and you can’t explain why. What happened? \n\n\n\nThis talk examines how to emit meaningful telemetry while keeping costs under control\, by exploring: \n\n\n\n\nWhat to actually instrument\n\n\n\nWhich metrics to focus on\n\n\n\nPipeline efficiency with OTel Arrow\n\n\n\nApplying sampling\, filtering\, and intentional instrumentation to cut down on noise\n\n\n\nSchema management and validation with tools like Weaver\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’ll review the ingredients of a mature observability implementation with OpenTelemetry — one that grows with you instead of overwhelming you. You’ll learn how to apply cost-effective techniques to achieve meaningful observability. \n\n\n\nAs more organizations embrace OpenTelemetry and mature their observability practice\, we find ourselves coming out of the OpenTelemetry “honeymoon period.” We’ve gone from “We’re using OpenTelemetry\, therefore we have observability” to “How do we actually make this work for us?” This talk will equip organizations to build a sustainable\, long-lasting observability practice built on OpenTelemetry. \n\n\n\n\nRegister\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Presenters \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoshua Lee – Open Source Developer Advocate at Altinity \n\n\n\nWhether it’s operators or observability\, agile or accessibility\, his expertise shines because he is passionate about all of it. He’s been building software for more than a decade\, and he loves sharing experiences via public speaking. He is currently a Developer Advocate for Altinity\, where he helps create educational content about ClickHouse® and OpenTelemetry\, and he is a contributor to the OpenTelemetry project. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nWant more great content? SUMMARY:Percona Live 2026 Bay Area Talk: AI-Powered Alert Analysis with ClickHouse® Cloud Databases
DESCRIPTION:CONFERENCE TALK\n\n\n\nPercona Live 2026 Bay Area Talk: AI-Powered Alert Analysis with ClickHouse® Cloud Databases\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nOur CEO\, Robert Hodges\, will be speaking at Percona Live 2026 Bay Area\, in Mountain View\, California. \n\n\n\nManual analysis of thousands of daily database alerts is impossible—but AI changes everything. This talk demonstrates using modern AI tools to analyze internal alert databases and uncover critical patterns in ClickHouse Cloud deployments. \n\n\n\nThrough live demos\, we’ll show how to: \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nIdentify the most critical and common alert patterns using AI-assisted SQL generation\n\n\n\nCorrelate application alerts with ClickHouse system tables (query_log\, part_log\, asynchronous_metric_log)\n\n\n\nAutomate root cause analysis and predict alert escalation paths\n\n\n\nTransform raw alert data into actionable insights for proactive monitoring\n\n\n\n\nSee how combining ClickHouse’s analytical power with AI tools creates a modern framework for database monitoring that prevents production outages before they happen. \n\n\n\nRegister now\n\n\n\nAbout the Presenter \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRobert Hodges – CEO at Altinity \n\n\n\nRobert Hodges serves as CEO at Altinity\, a leading software and services provider for ClickHouse®. SUMMARY:Percona Live 2026 Bay Area Talk: What's a Data Lake and What Does It Mean For My Open Source Stack?
DESCRIPTION:CONFERENCE TALK\n\n\n\nPercona Live 2026 Bay Area Talk: What’s a Data Lake and What Does It Mean For My Open Source Stack?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nOur CEO\, Robert Hodges\, will be speaking at Percona Live 2026 Bay Area\, in Mountain View\, California. \n\n\n\nData lakes on open table formats like Iceberg are a popular way to manage large datasets for analytics\, data science\, and AI. \n\n\n\nThis talk explains how data lakes work and how to adapt open source analytic stacks to use them. \n\n\n\n\n\nFirst\, we’ll tour projects like Arrow\, Iceberg\, and Unity Catalog that make data lakes possible. Next\, we’ll see how analytic engines like DuckDB\, ClickHouse\, and Spark are adapting. Finally\, we’ll survey a few projects that enable applications written in Python\, Golang\, or Rust to deliver fast queries. You’ll have to build the app yourself\, but this talk will show you a path to use data lakes and open source successfully. \n\n\n\nRegister now\n\n\n\nAbout the Presenter \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRobert Hodges – CEO at Altinity \n\n\n\nRobert Hodges serves as CEO at Altinity\, a leading software and services provider for ClickHouse®.
